Miss Mustard Seed’s Clever Use of the Tanner Nesting Tables

For our PINterior Decorating Challenge, we asked  five of our favorite bloggers to style one Pottery Barn item two ways. We’re wowed by all of the inspired ways that these five bloggers used the Tanner Nesting Tables. Today, we’re featuring Marian Parsons of Miss Mustard Seed.

We love how Marian used the Tanner Nesting Tables for a petite child’s desk.

Marian’s first book, Inspired You, was published in November of 2012. Her work has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Women’s Day, Cottages & Bungalows, Flea Market Style and Romantic Homes.

For her second space, Marian used these tables in the kitchen. (Please note: these products were not designed for use as or tested as shelves.)

When we asked Marian for decorating advice, she told us, “If you’re not sure where to start when decorating a room, start with a fabric you love. Use it to set the color scheme, style or theme of the room, making it easier to then pick out paint, furniture and accessories.”
