How-To: Make Giant Paper Flower Pinatas

Ready for the ultimate outdoor party accessory? Tiffanie Turner at Corner Blog has created giant paper peony pinatas that would look amazing hanging from trees or pergolas at a summer party. And of course, if you can bear to break these beauties, you can also be rewarded with a pinata full of candy. (We’re not sure if we could actually use them as pinatas though — they’re too pretty!)

Tiffanie writes,  ”I’m from the school of ‘if it didn’t take you a really long time to do, you didn’t do it right.’  . . . These beautiful piñatas are labor intensive, except for the one shaped like a partially opened peony.”

Though they might be labor intensive, they’re certainly gorgeous. (Don’t have the time to make one? You can buy them in Tiffanie’s Etsy shop, too.)
