Inspired by nautical-style accessories from our latest collection, stylist and exceptionally talented hair and makeup artist, Andrea Carter recalled her travels on the coast of Naples, Italy when developing the theme for a summer photo shoot. “I needed a twist” explained Andrea after ruling out the traditional palette of navy and red, “Then, I remembered my visit to the gulf of Naples, with tons of citrus (Hello, limoncello!) and lots of lush greenery. Going Italian coastal seemed like the perfect way to use nautical accessories in a fresh way, and I definitely had the perfect team to realize the vision.”
For makeup, Andrea selected a Sophia Loren-inspired bouffant and smokey eye for the bride. For the decor, this modern interpretation incorporated rustic Italian ingredients into nearly every element. Even the bouquet contained citrus, rosemary and basil. A citrus slice chandelier topped off a clean, elegant table featuring mini glass buoys as place card holders, nautical glassware, along with a beautiful floral arrangement nestled on top of a lazy susan. The details make the design, so every lush element reflects the spirit of wealth and abundance. Tanti auguri!
