I hate to be a negative Nellie, but guest books can be such a snooze fest sometimes. I love nothing more than to surprise the guests with something different aside from the standard book that will just end up in your storage. Here are just three of my favorite ideas out there:

GuestBook2

Postcards: If you’re having a destination wedding, vintage postcards are the perfect touch. Let guests write a little message on a stamped postcard and pop them in a sweet mailbox. Have your wedding planner actually mail them to you after the wedding so you can everyone’s well wishes waiting for you.

GuestBook1

Leave Letters: If you want something a little more classic, consider a lovely apothecary jar and custom printed notecards where guests can leave you a love note to read over and over again.

GuestBook3

Pin it: If you have a ton of guests that have made the trek, a vintage map or globe where guests can write their name and the distance they traveled can be fun and interactive.

Obviously there are so many other ways to allow guests to leave you sweet messages from a vintage typewriter to a polaroid and scrapbook station. What are you doing for your day?
