DIY + How-to

DIY Wooden Easter Eggs

This Easter, we decided to ditch the dye and opted for an easier (to assemble and clean-up) craft: decorating wooden eggs! Our friends over at Beijos Events showed us about this kid-friendly DIY craft for Easter, making for a fun activity to do together and a keepsake that will last for years!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Wooden Easter Eggs
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • Pom Poms
  • Paint Brushes (to apply glue)
  • Paint Pens
  • Stickers
  • Newspaper for crafting on (this – like any other kid craft – can get messy!)

The best part about this craft is there really aren’t any instructions! All you have to do is lay out the supplies and let your little kiddos imaginations get to work.

This craft is great for kids of any age. It’s easy to do and easy to clean up – just the way we like it! Plus, this can be a new tradition for your family so your little ones can keep their eggs from each year. It will be fun to look back at how their decorating skills have progressed!
