We asked Christy Husley of Colonial House of Flowers to ask her friends what they do to themselves for Mother’s Day. What she found out is adorable as well as insightful. Take a look!
After a hard days work and another beautiful photo gallery quickly delivered to my inbox, I asked, mother of two, Katrina Barrow of Katrina Barrow Photography how DO you do it?! She shared her secret: a little me time! Really?
On busy days she says she finds herself thinking of trips to the spa. With small children she rarely has much time to go. When she needs some r&r she brings a little luxury to her home life with this quick, inexpensive round up of natural ingredients from her kitchen cabinet.
Leaving out this natural and simple beauty treatment is perfect to make Mom feel really good! And, with the easy stock list – it won’t break the bank while giving her a little serenity.
Materials
1 Avocado
2 t Olive Oil
1 Banana
Steps
- Peel and slice the avocado
- Peel and slice the banana.
- Mash together with Olive Oil.
- Brush or rub on.
Leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes. Katrina confesses that it’s always nice to do this during a warm bath and then you can take off the mask with the water. It’s easy to use before bed, while reading, listening to music. It’s a quick easy way to get some me-time and do something nice for myself.
Now sit back and enjoy! Happy Mother’s Day!!!
