An Easter Table For the Color Lover

An Easter table can be styled a hundred different ways but after a gray winter, we are craving boldness – think rich textures and vibrant color. But we also love a little practicality. We wanted to style a table that can easily be used later in the year for a summer BBQ or a family gathering. Tasked with this tall order, we called on one of our favorite designer bloggers, Eden Passante from Sugar and Charm. Since Easter marks the beginning of beautiful weather (and fabulous blooms) Eden created a table celebrating nature at its finest.

The vibrant turquoise and green palette is tempered with natural wood elements and the unexpected use of copper accents. We love how Eden used our vintage wood napkin rings for styling these beautiful floral print table linens. They add a touch of rustic charm to the plate.

Napkin Holder/ Name Card Holder

Eden also used the napkin rings to prop up adorable DIY Easter egg place cards marked with guests’ names. Stroke of genius! To replicate the name cards at home, use a metallic paint pen to write your guests’ name on home dyed Easter egg. If your hand writing is a little shaky, use a pencil to lighting etch the name on the egg and trace it with the paint pen.

Or better yet, why not turn this into an activity for all your guests by adding a craft table to your Easter celebration for friends and family to decorate their own eggs. Not only is it a fun memory to make with friends but it can also be a sweet tradition to start with kids.

Easter Bouquet

We love how Eden styled this beautiful bouquet in our Ceramic Bunny Vase. To keep your flower shopping easy, here is a short list of blooms that are in season for the Easter holiday: Freesias, Alstromerias, Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Lisianthus, and Tulips. If floral arranging isn’t your forte, stick with a large bouquet of the same flower, like hydrangeas or tulips, for an easy but impactful centerpiece.

Carrot Cake

Another way Eden incorporated her freshly picked flowers into the table is adding a small arrangement to the dessert to make this beautiful presentation.
