1. Try Cozy New Fabrics
One of the quickest, easiest ways to refresh your room is to change out the bedding. During summer and fall, we usually look for crisp linens, but with colder weather, try cuddling up to something warmer! Try cozier layers like fleece sheeting or a chic faux fur throw.
Having a friend over during holiday break (or simply sharing a room with a sibling)? Dress up your beds in coordinated sheeting (like we did above) to make everyone feel festive!
2. Create A Space To Relax
With the holiday season comes a few extra days off school (score!) — the perfect chance to spend time with friends and family. Make your space more fun with comfortable seating (we love these beanbags!) plus fun games, like a dartboard or foosball table. Some spirited competition is the perfect thing for friends and out-of-town relatives.
3. Get Nostalgic
We can’t help but get a little mushy around the holidays! That’s why we’re so smitten with these Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch™ flannel sheets — they remind us of one of our favorite Christmas stories as a kid. We could easily stay in this bed all day with a few cookies and a glass of milk. 🙂
