It’s December, which of course means — HOLIDAY DIYs!!! Naturally we turned to PBteen crafter extraordinaire Laurel fromA Bubbly Life blog to show us how to get extra festive this holiday season! Enjoy…
Hey PBteen, it’s Laurel from A Bubbly Life blog. Although I am a year round sequin lover, The Christmas Season allows me to indulge my love of sequins and all things sparkly to the absolute max! These wreaths only took me about 10 minutes to make, so don’t fret if you don’t have tons of time, this project is speedy! Plus, after Christmas they will be added to my gallery wall, after all sequins are not just for Christmas! You can add your to your dorm, bedroom, wherever! Here’s what you’ll need…
Materials:
- Sequin Trim (I used 2 inch wide trim and 3 inch wide trim)
- Wreath Form
- Tacky Glue
Super Easy Directions:
- Glue one side of your sequin trim to your wreath form.
- Wrap trim around until your wreath is covered and glue the end of trim to wreath.
- Hang for a sparkly Christmas! That’s it!
The amount of trim needed depends on the size of your wreath. The small wreath required approximately 3 yards of trim that was 2 inches wide. The only reason I used different sized widths for trim was because that was what the craft store had available in the colors I wanted! The wider your trim the less length you will need, so I suggest getting the larger width!
Have a merry, sparkle filled Christmas! Be sure to check out the PBteen Pinterest for lots more great DIY ideas! 🙂
Cool–I’m going to try it!
