DIY Pom Pom Banner

Hi everyone! Laurel, from A Bubbly Life blog here. I am obsessed with PBteen’s new peppy pom pom pillows!  After seeing them, I knew I had to use the idea for a DIY- so, let’s make some pom pom felt banners to hang in your room!

Materials:

Pom poms

Felt 8X10 Sheets for letters

Long felt roll for banner

Wooden Dowel

Glue

Scissors

 

Instructions

To create your pom poms, use the tutorial for the pom pom keychains (minus the keychain part!)

Cut out letters for your words, remember to leave the “O”s out- they will be pom poms!

Glue the letters to your long felt piece.  Leave some additional room on top, as the wooden dowel will be on top in order for you to hang it!

Cut your long felt down to a banner after applying letters (it helps get the correct banner size when you wait until after you glue)

Glue banner onto wooden dowel.

Tie pom pom string or whatever fun string/rope you have to the ends of the wooden dowel.

Hang!
