DIY Glitter Bow Thumbtacks

We’re excited to bring you yet another DIY from one of our fave bloggers, Laurel from A Bubbly Life! Today Laurel is showing us how to make one basic school supply – the thumbtack – anything but boring! Take it away Laurel…

Hey guys, it’s your resident DIY blogger, Laurel! I think it is pretty clear that I am a fangirl of the new Emily & Meritt line, as seen by the heart & star lanterns inspired by these oh-so-cute sheets  and my attendance at the star garland workshop at PBteen store (blog post coming your way soon!)  Another favorite of mine from the collection is the sequin bow pillow and now that it is back to school time- how about some locker magnets or some cute thumbtacks for your pin board!? Glitter bow ones of course!

Materials:

Instructions:

Apply mod podge to plain bow using the paint brush.

Add glitter, do the glitter shake (removes excess glitter) and let dry.

Apply a dab of superglue to the back of the bow and glue on magnet or thumbtack.

VOILA!

So easy and SO cute, yeah?
