Tips for Two (or more!): Decorating with Twins

When decorating for twins or multiples, the challenges can seem exponential. Here are a few of our foundational tips that will help get you started in a room for two (or more!).

Set up a strong storage foundation. From hanging storage and soft storage to dressers and bins, a great start to any room (multiples or not) is storage. Find the perfect system for your home here.

Get creative with the space! Don’t feel restricted to a mirrored layout — a different orientation of your furniture may give a better flow to the room.

Choose furniture that will last. Timeless pieces will help add longevity to the room. Even as their favorite colors or hobbies change, you’ll have solid furniture that grows with them.

Coordinate the style, but be sure to differentiate the look. Try adding a few playful letters or a different color for each child to help energize the room. The decorative details are just enough to give each little one a space to call their own.
