Your New Summer Reading List

If you’re anything like us, summer is when you get most of your reading done. Weekend afternoons spent at the pool, beach or park all require a good read as much as they require sunscreen. We asked some of our favorite bloggers what they’re reading this summer so we can stock up for the season. Take a look at their top picks, below!

The Paris Wife — it’s an easy read and perfect for summer!”

Taylor Sterling, Glitter Guide

The Secret History, by Donna Tartt. I’ve always wanted to read this suspenseful tale about a group of misfits at an elite New England college, but since it clocks in at nearly 600 pages, I haven’t been able to find the time. Which makes it the perfect read for summer! I’m leaving for a vacation in France next week, and I’m looking forward to the 10 hour flight so I can become fully absorbed in its pages.

“I’m reading Beautiful Ruins, which makes me want to hop on a plane to Italy.  It’s a great beach read.”

— Caitlin Moran, Glitter Guide and Style Within Reach

“Right now I’m reading Gone Girl. It’s a thriller that about a girl who goes missing and I can’t put it down! I heard there is a surprise ending, so I’m antsy to finish it.”

— Samantha Wennerstrom, Could I Have That?
