Round Up: 5 Florals That Are Growing On Us

Who doesn’t love receiving a bouquet of fresh flowers? While it may not be possible to get a bouquet every week, you can definitely add the vitality and energy of flowers into your home with a floral print. Before you balk, floral designs have come a long way since the days of cabbage roses.  Think patterns infused with hot pink, black backgrounds and a loose hand.  These are florals with a modern edge and we rounded up five products from our catalog that we think are right on trend for Spring.

1. The original watercolors for our Floral Rim Dinner Plates were created in our San Francisco art studio. Rimmed with a subtly organic texture, they bring a playful and lighthearted look to a table setting.  We love them paired with the Napoli Dinnerware for a fresh spin on formal dining.

2. What happens when you combine ikat and florals?  You get our Floral Ikat Pillow which we think is a great merging of two traditional styles to create a wonderful hybrid.  Both geometric and soft, this pillow easily is one of our favorites from the new collection.

3. For our Botanical Decoupage Tray, a vintage botanical illustration is reproduced against a black background for dramatic effect, but we especially love the gold foil along the rim.  It’s the perfect piece to put on a dresser to act as a catch-all.

4. The Oversize Floral Wall Art reminds us of when we pressed flowers for our elementary art projects.  Using a palette of watercolors and a handful of blooms as inspiration, the artist achieves a charming, lively image that is soothing but not dull.

5. Like a bouquet for your sofa, The Lyla Garden Print Pillow brings a fresh spring feeling into any room.  Add in a solid velvet pillow and a throw to completely refresh your space for about $100.
