Who watched episode 4 of Revved Up Rooms last night?! Meg DeAngelis (MayBaby) made a really fun pom pom garland to drape across her PBteen Beadboard Canopy Bed! What we love about this DIY is that you can put it anywhere 🙂 We’re giving you step-by-step instructions on how to make this easy DIY yourself right now as it is the perfect addition to any room!

Supplies

ruler // pen // scissors // twine // floral wire // pink tissue paper // bronze tissue paper // teal tissue paper // wire cuttersInstructions

1. Cut your floral wire into 6″ pieces – you will need one per flower.
2. Cut your tissue paper into 10″ x 6″ pieces.3. Stack four pieces of tissue paper on top of each other.4. Fold the tissue paper, accordion style – the width of each fold should be about an inch.5. Once folded, cut rounded corners through all the layers along each end.6. Cut two small triangle wedges from the center of each side in the middle.7. Bend a piece of floral wire in half.8. Slip the halved wire through one of the notches, and twist it together along the other notch.9. Carefully begin to unfold and fluff your flower.10. Repeat steps 2 – 9 until you have all of your flowers.11. Cut your twine to the length you’d like your garland to be.12. Twist your flowers onto your garland using the remaining bit of floral wire.13. Trim the excess floral wire off of the flowers and hang!
