Hi everyone! Laurel from A Bubbly Life here today to get you in a holiday mood with a peppermint patty popcorn recipe and decorated treat bags inspired by the new Peanuts movie! The Peanuts Movie comes out on November 6th and PBteen has an exclusive collection for the movie and it is amazing- lots of red sequin sparkle, polka dots and of course, the adorable Snoopy! Let’s grab some popcorn and go to the movie!
Recipe:
Popcorn (already popped!)
Peppermint Patties
Candy Canes
Directions:
Chop your peppermint patties and candy canes into little pieces and mix in a microwave safe bowl with the popcorn.
In 15 second increments, zap popcorn, remove from microwave, stir and zap again. Repeat 4 times for a total of one minute. If you zap the popcorn for a minute all at once you will end up with big melted chunks and it will not be as evenly distributed. (but the chunks are tasty too 😉

Instructions:
Trim a little paper off the top of the bag so that it is much easier to stick your hand in and enjoy your popcorn.
Create your design! I went with polka dots inspired by the PBteen pillow set and chevron inspired by Charlie Brown’s iconic sweater.
Pour popcorn into bags and sit back and enjoy the new PEANUTS movie!
