Instagram Snaps From Our First-Ever Blogger Event!

Last night, we headed to Oakland’s Uptown neighborhood to throw our first-ever event for San Francisco Bay Area bloggers, stylists, designers and other local creatives. Make Westing, a bocce ball bar and restaurant, proved to be the perfect venue for the evening. We were thrilled to meet so many of our online friends face to face and enjoy a kickoff party to celebrate summer. We were also happy to have Rebekah from A&B Creative to help with the night (she’s also the creative force behind this post). Let’s take a peek at Instagrams taken at the party — and make sure to check back soon to see the professional photos from the night!

Rebekah at AandBCreative photographed this vignette of Pottery Barn vases with gorgeous florals, which sat behind the banquette at Make Westing.

Rebekah also captured the vintage raffle drum that she lent us for our giveaway. Isn’t it adorable?

Instagram user cloudsandcoffee snapped a photo of our giveaway: a Union Canvas Tote Bag with our Vintage Bowling Set.

Instagram user PlanningPretty captured the gorgeous floral arrangement that Rebekah created with vintage soda bottles and Pottery Barn vases, which she then put in our Rattan Picnic Basket for 2.

Here it is from a different angle, as snapped by PopSugarHome. That’s our Pinstripe Table Runner on the metal table at Make Westing. (It’s one of our new favorite products!)

Guests enjoyed photos from our lawn bowling photo shoot, which we hung with washi tape near the bocce court at Make Westing. The bunting was modeled on a flag that calligraphy artist Little Miss Press created for the original photo shoot.

Guests enjoyed Make Westing’s fantastic cocktails while catching up with friends and instagramming and tweeting photos using the hashtag #pbevents.

Of course, as savvyinsanfran shows us, they also enjoyed a game of bocce and a turn with our vintage lawn bowling set.

Pottery Barn snapped this gorgeous marquee from the Oakland Fox Theater across the street. It was a fun night in Oakland! Thanks to all of our blogger friends for coming out and enjoying the evening with us.
