Summer is all about hanging out with friends and going to your favorite summer hot spots with family, so we teamed up with Amy from Homey Oh My to show us how she keeps her summer closet organized when on the go!
First thing’s first; Go through your closet and take out your winter coats, boots and sweaters to make room for your summer fashion. If you didn’t wear it last season, maybe that’s a sign that it’s time to pass it on to a consignment store or friend. I keep my winter clothes in bins on the top shelf of my closet so they’re out of the way but easy to reach when the season is over. To keep my shoes, tanks, tees and shorts organized, I added this Hanging Closet Organizer that rotates for easy access making it a cinch to get ready for my summer adventures. And last but not least, I organized my jewelry with PBteen’s Savannah Jewelry Box that I can now keep on my closet shelf since my shoes are hung!
To bump up your closet game even more, try making these custom labels for your bins! Choose your favorite colors and shapes to make them one of a kind.
Materials:
-adhesive vinyl
-paper punch
-paint pen
Step 1: Cut the adhesive vinyl with your paper punch.
Step 2: Use the paint pen to write on each label.
Step 3: Peel and stick each label onto each bin.
