We love Christy from Colonial House of Flowers! After the amazing and inspiring curb appeal story she created for us last month, we knew we had to invite her back to share more of her pin-worthy ideas. Christy didn’t disappoint creating a beautiful Moscow Mule Bar, perfect for Fall dinner parties with the help of her partners in design, Lavin Label and The Vine Garden Market. Here are some simple tips for recreating this lush look.
Tip 1: Use the same color fresh flowers on tables.
It’s easy to get arrangements that are all the same color right. Cut and put seasonal earth tone millets, Queen Anne’s lace and local greens in a creative container like this Carolina Vase or Mood Moss in a found dough bowl for a look that’s effortless and stunning. Add them loosely for a natural look.
Tip 2: Add candles and found greenery for elegance.
Rather than traditional Fall foliage try fresh trimmed succulents and air plants. It doesn’t get more beautiful (or easy) than that. Plus when it comes to setting the mood, you can’t beat the immediate impact of flickering lantern light like the Wyeth Recycled Glass Lanterns. Put fresh clipped kernels and tons of candles everywhere!
Tip 3: Tray of drinks.
Easiest way to impromptu conversation? You know, we like to mingle. The Fretwork Rim Mirror Tray full of a signature cocktail that guests make themselves invites just that! Scratch the paper and used hand lettered signs in seasonal fruit like apples or limes to add savoir faire.
Monica’s Moscow Mule

Step 2: Top with Ginger Beer and garnish with Mint
Step 3: Enjoy!
