A Warm, Inviting and Soulful Southern Kitchen

Sandra Gaylord of Gaylord Designs LLC recently sent us photos of a beautiful kitchen she’d designed. We’re in love with the new look of the room, which still reflects the home’s historic nature but subtly updates it for modern living.

She told us, “Our interiors, including kitchens, are always warm and inviting which is the bedrock of Pottery Barn’s style. Spaces with soul and a ‘come in and take your shoes off’ southern mantra. Whether our projects utilize one PB piece or many, they always reflect our design concept. This particular kitchen is in an historic house in Charleston, SC. The large windows look out onto a intimate courtyard as so often seen in Charleston. We used two Pottery Barn Manchester counter stools that were the perfect texture, color and size. They slide under the counter perfectly, but appear to be part of the ‘architecture’ of the peninsular. The taupe linen blends with the gray. We have had many questions as to where these counter stools can be purchased.”
