Serve Up Some Sweetness With a Valentine’s Day Party For the Kids

We’re not afraid to say it: Valentine’s Day is the most fun when you’re a kid! Sure, the bouquets and boxes of chocolate given and received on the holiday as an adult are great, but it’s the kid-friendly rhyming Valentines handed out at school, pink heart-filled parties, and the excuse to fill up on some colorful treats that are remembered for years to come. Our friends at Beijos Events recognize this too and dreamed up one of the most beautiful Valentine’s Day parties you’ve ever seen.

Jett and Dylan, kiddos of one of the Beijos Events owners, Abby, were lucky enough to experience this beautiful event themselves. How did the Beijos team put this together? They started by adding our Heart Chaircovers to the Carolina table set.

Then, the table was set with our Valentine’s Day plates, which include the classic puns of kids Valentine’s Day cards.

We might have to use the two-tiered Valentine’s Day centerpiece all year round in the kitchen.

These delicious desserts are from The Sugar Studio. Can treats with hearts and “xoxo”s please be available all year long?!

The breathtaking florals are from Christine Cater Floral & Event Design. Christine also crafted the cute twig cupid’s arrow seen on the plate below.

The table was set with I Love You placemats, bowls, and flatware alongside the kitty and airplane plates. The I Love You bowls were filled with fresh flowers and a white acrylic name heart by Meghann Miniello to let the little ones know where they were sitting.

Adding fresh flowers in dishes and loose on the table give it that extra pretty detail that everyone will love. It’s an inexpensive way to decorate the table for any event.

After a sweet snack and sparkling juice out of the heart straws, the kids played “Lay One on Me,” a game where they were in front of a giant photo of the two of them and had to try to place a heart sticker on their faces. Think “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” but with a whole lot of pink hearts. After you are done with the game, it’s also a great art print during Valentine’s Day to have around the house.
