The Pottery Barn Kids design team helped me create a bright and cheery nursery for my daughter, which I absolutely adore. While I love each and every item in the space, here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Addison rug: Is it possible to be in love with a rug? Because I am. I’m obsessed with the trellis design and punchy color. The rug has been on my radar for months and I was thrilled to use it in the nursery. It makes a bold statement in the room and everyone who visits swoons over it. Even my puppy Sammy is a fan.
  2. Regency dresser and nightstand: From the signature molding to the classic pulls, the Regency collection gives the space a sophisticated spin. The dresser works perfectly as a changing table and will easily transition when my daughter gets older. In fact, it’s already her favorite spot in the house! She loves to lie there and look at the chandelier cooing in the morning while I get her dressed. Using a nightstand as a side table allows me to store mommy nursing essentials like burping cloths, bottles of water, and my iPad so everything I need is ready to go by the glider for late night feedings.
  3. Blossom chandelier: I was a little hesitant about this feminine chandelier since I was envisioning a funkier lighting fixture for the space, but I trusted my designer’s recommendation and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did! The crystal flowers add just the right dose of glam. A dimmer switch allows us to control the lighting so we can keep it dim when she wakes up in the middle of the night. It also gives the space ambiance.
  4. Ruffle blackout panel: Don’t be deceived by the laid back elegance—these curtains can be a lot of work to hang. They need to either be steamed or pressed which can take a good chunk of time, but trust me, it’s totally worth it! The ruffled tiers remind me of strolling through a feminine French boutique and add an element of texture to the space while the white fabric balances out the bold rug. The blackout panels make the space dark and cozy for afternoon naps. Teal polka dots on the sheer curtains add a subtle pop of color to the window treatments.
  5. Gallery frames and Harper Frame Mats: It was important for me to include personalized art and photographs in the room. The classic white gallery frames let colorful artwork stand out without making the room seem too busy, while the striped Harper mats in pink and purple brought out coordinating accent colors.

I bought a blanket last year that was $35.00. It was called a COZY and had cardboard wrapped around it. When I went to buy more recently I was given a list of stores across the country that still had them. Can someone help me to order some. They are so soft and my grandkids fight over that blanket.
Thanks,
Carol
