How to Plan a Halloween Party x Beijos Events

Halloween is right around the corner, and there is no better way to celebrate than with a party. What kid does not love dressing up and eating candy? We have complied a list of helpful ideas to make your Halloween party the best of the season!

First things first, in order to have a true Halloween party you should send out a good old-fashioned invitation, but if you are in more of a time crunch an evite can work too. But we have to admit there is something special about receiving a paper invitation in the mail. Be sure to invite as many friends as you want and plan accordingly. Dress code is, of course, costume required.

When setting up for the party, make your room festive with tasteful Halloween decorations. Add our trick or treat garland to your wall and it will be a festive and great photo opportunity. Throughout the room adding our felt pumpkin décor or Black Pumpkin with Boo Luminary can make it more fun and exciting for your children. Halloween is a time where you can go all out on decorating.

Making a kid friendly table is important for a Halloween party. For this party, they used our Carolina Play table and My first molded back Play chairs to create an inviting atmosphere for the kids. But decorating is only half the fun, don’t forget to provide candy and treats in the spirit of Halloween. Cookies can be an easy way to stay on theme by molding them in the shapes of goblins and pumpkins. You could even make a fun activity out of food and have the kids bob for apples. Whoever gets the most apples wins a prize in a pumpkin glow felt treat bag.

For an even more memorable Halloween party, gather the adults and make a DIY haunted house! Decorate a room in your house with spooky decorations, dress up in costume and have the kids wander around the haunted house, they will be sure to remember the year they saw you in a haunted house.

When the day of the event comes along, make a spooky Halloween themed playlist to play throughout the party. Most importantly, don’t forget to take lots and lots of pictures. There is nothing cuter than a group of kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes! It is always a fun way to see a different side of their personality come to life through their costume. There were many cute costumes to be seen at the Beijos party. From witches and ghosts, to cats and pumpkins, every kid can get in the spirit of Halloween!
