Get Ready for Hanukkah With This Gelt Plate Giveaway

November 28th marks both Thanksgiving this year as well as the first full day of the eight-day Jewish festival of lights, better known as Hanukkah. With the unusual convergence of Hanukkah and Thanksgiving this year, “Thanksgivukkah” will be celebrated by many Jewish-American families. How unusual is this overlap? It last happened in 1888, so it’s safe to say that this won’t happen again in anyone’s lifetime.

To celebrate this most unusual overlap, we’re offering five fans the chance to win a set of our Gelt Tidbit Plates. These mercury-glass plates are embossed with four different icons of Hanukkah, and are made with machine-molded glass with an antiqued silver finish.

How would you use these plates for Thanksgiving and Hanukkah celebrations? Tell us in the comments. For a chance to win, simply fill out the form below (official rules can be found here).

Thank you for reading, this contest is now closed.

We’re celebrating with Thanksgivukkah pumpkin latkes and Manizchewitz brined turkey! We will be playing dreidel with the kids and would LOVE these adorable gelt plates for our game – we’d put the chocolate “gelt” in each plate for each players winnings!
