DIY: Spring Centerpiece with Our Bird Bath Serve Bowl

When Kiana Underwood of Tulipina Floral Design spotted our Footed Bird Bath Serve Bowl from our spring collection, she knew it would make a great wedding centerpiece this season. Underwoood used jasmine and camellia from her garden and stopped by the San Francisco Flower Mart for the rest. Are you ready to make your own? Use our guide for recreating this floral masterpiece.

Step 1: Placing the kenzan in the center of the bowl, arrange the flowers by pushing the stems between the pins. I started with the jasmine and camellia first and then added the geranium.

Step 2: Add the sweet peas and climbing rose.

Step 3: Add the freesia. This spring’s freesia is something – it is bigger and lovelier than ever!

Step 4: Add the parrot tulips. They add a beautiful grace to the arrangement hanging down from the bowl next to the jasmine.

Step 5: Add the peonies in the front where they can show themselves off.

Step 6: Arranged the flowers off to one side of the bowl so that the pretty bird wouldn’t get lost in the arrangement.
