WOOHOO! It’s that time of year again, and whether it’s you, a friend or a family member walking across that stage to receive a diploma, one thing is for sure: it’s time to celebrate!

Nothing says “celebration” like confetti, and photo backdrops are one of our favorite pieces of party decor – so we decided to combine the two! Here’s a DIY that offers the perfect background for super-fun graduation photos.

Materials:

  • Cardboard numbers (purchase at a party store or cut out your own)
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam brush
  • Confetti (tip: purchase your school’s colors for a customized look)

Step 1: Use the foam brush to apply Mod Podge to a small section of one number, then sprinkle on the confetti. Continue until each number is completely covered.

Step 2: Tap each number on a hard surface to shake off excess confetti.

Step 3: Hang in the background for party pictures (or over your event table!).

Tip: Have a bowl of confetti ready so people can throw it while the photos are being taken. It’s much more fun that way! Besides, this is a once-in-a-lifetime achievement – you can clean up the mess later!
