Hi there, everyone! It’s Marissa here from Design Love Co. You may remember me from my tips on getting your planner nice and organized. Well today I am back and here to share some more tips on organizing your study space for spring! I am going to show you a few ways that will really make your workspace both more productive and extra pretty.
Fresh Flowers
There’s just something about that wonderful smell and those pops of color of fresh flowers that can truly just transform an entire room. I love having them in my work space because they provide a little sunshine even during gloomy days. I usually pick them up on my way home and whatever is in season usually works just perfectly. A Little Something Sweet
I don’t know about you guys, but I have a serious sweet tooth! I can’t seem to stay away from sweet little nibbles especially on long afternoons spent on the computer or with a stack of books. There is absolutely nothing better than having a little piece of candy (ok…or two…) while you’re working hard and listening to your favorite tunes.
Washi Tape
I am totally enamored with washi tape and use it in place of all regular uses of tape simply because…well…honestly isn’t it just way more fun? Add a little color or pattern to your day; try labeling your plain old folders with washi and they’ll immediately become cuter (and more useful!).
A Motivational Quote
I am always on the lookout for new and fun quotes. Why? They simply always lift my mood! Don’t let homework and exams weigh you down, find a quote (or a few) you love, or better yet — swap ’em out weekly on your wall or cork board! (Pssst, this cute print is available here!)
A Pop of Color
Whether you just picked up a new fun color of nail polish or make everyday necessities, like a garbage can, colorful the choice is truly yours. We love having our pink garbage can in the office and actually use it for paper recycling because it makes being nice to our planet just a little more fun.
Major Comfort
Last, but definitely not least, you want to make sure you are comfortable sitting at your desk. We absolutely adore this Fur Rockin’ Roller Desk Chair because it not only looks adorable but it also helps you strengthen your back muscles because you sit upright and maintain good posture – something that so many of us never even think about but is oh so important.
