Tony’s Top Tips to Serving the Perfect Easter Brunch

Easter is almost here! We’re so egg-cited for our favorite spring holiday. Are you celebrating Easter with an Easter Brunch? Then it’s time to start planning. We had a Facebook Chat with our entertaining expert, Tony, to get his top tips for the perfect Easter Brunch. Take a look at our favorite tidbits from the chat, below.

Use Easter as an excuse to welcome spring into your home. It’s probably still cold where you are right now, but this is really the first opportunity to put in some color in your home. The traditional Easter color palette is all pastel. But we’re really embracing bright, deeper colors this Easter — and we’re inviting you to mix and match. From turquoise to lavender, color is the new black!

Mix it up with a festive juice bar! Easter brunch often means mimosas. But if you want a non-alcoholic option, we recently did a little birthday gathering (see photo below) in our PB studio that lends itself to a healthy Easter Brunch beverage idea. An assortment of fresh squeezed juices in champagne flutes will give you the bright colors of Easter.

Get colorful with your champagne. Chill your champagne glasses and add a scoop of sorbet: raspberry, lemon or whatever you feel like. Top with champagne and garnish with a lemon twist or a complementary colored fruit. You can do this as a cocktail, or for dessert!

Easter can be classic, too. We love color, but for some of you, a more neutral and classic tablescape is the way to hop into Easter. Mix clear glass, moss, our fabulous sculpted ceramic entertaining pieces and colorful eggs for a playful pop. Use our Antique Silver and white ceramic dinnerware — try Gabriella! A clear glass vessel with a tall branch as your centerpiece will add drama to the table.

Make your brunch menu easy. The easiest thing to do it is to stick with simple baking, like muffins. Trying to do eggs benedict for the whole group is a lot of work. Instead, make a basic pan dish like a frittata with asparagus, tomato and fontina cheese — it comes out great every time. Make a fruit salad with yogurt for lighter options. Make some candied bacon, too! (Who doesn’t love bacon?) Serving everything on our beautiful Great White Dinnerware will make the most simple menu shine!

Try a semi-homemade dessert. The all-powerful Peep! They’re as decorative as they are delicious. Balance on one top of cupcakes and put them on our Great White Three-Tiered Stand, or do a border around a pre-bought carrot cake. Choose your color! Nowadays, they have Peeps in every color you can imagine.

Let your home’s interior decor feel festive, too. Be creative when filling your decorative Easter baskets. We have so many great options! Change your pillow-scape will bring a festive feeling to your home, and show off your spirit for the season. But however you spend your Easter, be sure to fill it with friends, family and fun.

That’s so funny you should mention that turquoise and purple are the new black, I did my Easter table with those exact color theme and I’m so happy with it..it just sort of evolved as design does sometimes…
