Kirsten Grove of Simply Grove — an oh-so-talented stylist, designer and blogger that we adore — just moved into a beautiful 1940s bungalow in Boise, Idaho with her family. We were thrilled to help her out with a little living room refresh to make her space feel warm, fresh, bright and homey.

We love how Kirsten’s affinity for neutrals never feels boring. Our cable knit pillows and throws and jute rug add texture to the clean and bright space.

A chunky knit pillow and a simple wire storage basket full of books turned this corner chair into the perfect reading nook.

One of our new favorite prints now hangs on Kirsten’s living room wall. “It’s a constant reminder of what’s to come,” she says.

Our mirrored pillar box can hold just about any kind of display — candles, accessories or items from nature. We love how Kirsten used it on her mantle, where she can swap things in and out with ease.

“I love layering art on the mantle and on the ground, too,” she says. “Along with this wire storage basket for firewood, it creates plenty of interest.”
