Although we’re certainly known for our love of parties, nothing can quite beat the intimacy of an elopement. Maybe it’s the romantic in us, but it’s just so special — don’t you think? This beautiful elopement in Texas — shot by the talented Amber Vickery — embraces the private, personal side of Becky and Austin’s elopement, while still capturing the festivity of the Tres Lunas Resort.

“I loved the rustic, yet feminine feel of this whimsical wedding,” says photographer Vero Suh. The bride, Fanny, donned a feminine Monique Lhuillier dress, paired with a light pink Gucci heels to match the color theme of her wedding. From the romantic indoor ceremony, the overflow of pretty details and a Pinkberry bar at the end of the night, this wedding has all the element of a beautiful day, with just the right amount of fun.

Lindsay and Stephen both grew up vacationing on the coast. So, when it came to planning their beachside nuptials they chose WaterColor Inn & Resort to say “I do.” Since they were already planning their big day by the sea, they wanted their engagement shoot to capture some of their favorite spots along Florida’s 30A beaches. Photographer, Dear Wesleyann walked the couple through the beautiful streets of Alys Beach, took them on a tandem bike ride through Rosemary Beach, all with just enough time to catch the sunset.
From the bride: We started our shoot with Wesleyann walking through the streets of Alys beach. All of the white architecture and greenery made for such a beautiful backdrop. We found an outdoor seating area on the beach side and popped some bubbly — as it also happened to be my birthday! Wesleyann made it so easy for us to just be ourselves and have fun. Her pictures capture that joy perfectly.
Our next stop was in the town of Rosemary Beach, where Wesleyann somehow worked her magic to get a tandem bike for us to shoot on. It’s an understatement to say we had fun with that! We hurried down to the beach right as the sun was going down to take some sunset shots and we could not have asked for a more beautiful ending to the day.
According to their photographer Kate Slater, Julia and Jonathan one of their favorite couples of the year! “They win the award for cutest, most laid back, totally madly in love couple of the year — if there is such a thing.” We would have to say we whole-heartedly agree.
This wedding is filled with DIY touches made by the bride, brilliantly water coloring everything she could get her hands on, including her custom-made silk gown, which was lovingly created by her fashion designer mother, Kathryn Conover Couture. From the gorgeous seaside location and wildflowers to calligraphy and cake, this wedding has it all.

Bill and Blaire grew up vacationing at the beaches of 30A in Seaside, Florida, so when they decided where to say “I do,” the choice was easy. “It was the perfect place for us to exchange our vows,” Blaire explained. The Seaside Chapel is simple and romantic with pine floors, white pews, and charming bell tower. Her vision for the reception was elegant with a southern flair. The clean, white lines and Mediterranean inspired architecture of Alys Beach created a stunning backdrop; the theme of mint and gold weaved throughout. Thanks to the brilliant photography of Dear Wesleyann and flawless coordination by Shelby Peaden Events, the day was perfect — despite having a shake up in the date due to a tropical storm!
