Painted Patterns: The Florentine Paisley Linens

Behind the Design | | | Leave a comment

An antique damask shawl was the original inspiration for our Paisley Florentine Linens, but the interpretation wasn’t literal. Instead, one of Pottery Barn’s in-house textile artists translated the shawl’s look with paint.

The level of detail that went into the painting is exquisite. And the final result? Absolutely lovely.

We especially love how these linens translate from season to season. They complement an autumnal table beautifully, but are also well suited for a winter holiday table. Depending on how you dress these linens up or down, they can work for a casual Sunday brunch for two or a more formal New Year’s Eve dinner.
